DAY ONE: Gen-Up Symposium
We are so excited to connect with The Pachamama Alliance and their Gen-Up initiative for the First Five Days! They really know how to wake young people up to the issues facing our planet, explain how we got here, and inspire us to find our personal passions. They have over 3000 trained facilitators around the world (and that number is growing every day) who can't wait to share the process with you.
Whether you are experiencing your symposium in a First Five Days or REAlity Check workshop, consider getting involved in some way --the more people we have getting the message out, the sooner we can create solutions to support life at every level. We especially want youth to realize that their participation is vitally important to making a new dream for all of us. You are the ones we have been waiting for!
If you feel that your Virtual Mayor role is connected to Gen-Up, great! You can become a facilitator or create videos to be used in symposia. They could be documentary style or performance--the only limit is your imagination! Plus, consider connecting with facilitators in your area to perform at some symposia live!
You really matter. The possibilities are endless. Your energy will make a difference.
